In this first quarter of the New Year we at Live Wire want to extend a very hearty welcome as together we embark on a new year of positively responding to HIV and AIDS in this region. Coming out of our 5 year summit in December 2011 we hinted at quite a few new and exciting partnerships and initiatives and we have certainly gone full speed ahead as we seek new ways of engaging our targets. Look out for news on our partnership with the Island Queen Franchise and its new Reality Show as well as an update on our Man-A-Man 2 minute video competition held recently in Jamaica. Regional Testing Day is here once again and we at Live Wire are aiming to surpass last year’s testing totals. Be sure to submit your IAS Fellowship applications and we a part of the CBMP contingent traveling to Washington D.C. in July for the International AIDS Conference.

Mr. Ian McKnight of the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities (CVC) noted “I must single out for special mention Nationwide News Network here in Jamaica who are revolutionary in many ways.  In this case they are placing the CBMP ads/PSAs in Prime Time. This has gone a far way in heightening awareness on the matters on which we work so hard. Great work! Am proud of your alliance with them”. Keep up the great work Nationwide News Network!
